Auto Choice 12v/24v Smart Battery Charger
The Auto Choice 12v/24v Smart Battery Charger is suitable for use with most modern day car & truck batteries (excluding lithium ion). With a 30% faster charge than a 6a or 8a charger, providing up to 20a of charge. Suitable for charging and repairing both 12v (20a) and 24v (10a) batteries. A low minimum start voltage of only 5v allows the charger to work on heavily depleted batteries. Featuring a 7 stage charging cycle, consisting of desulphation, soft start, bulk mode, absorption, battery test, recondition and float. The large display screen provides a wealth of information on the status of the charge, voltage, current, temperature, battery charge level, summer mode as well as winter mode. The portable design, with folding handle and built in cable tidy.

7 Stage Charging Cycle:
- Desulphation – Remove sulphation from old, uncharged batteries, restoring to full capacity.
- Soft Start – Pre charge process, slowly charges to protect the battery and increase lifespan.
- Bulk Mode – Charges at maximum rate, charges the battery to approximately 80% for a 12v charge until 14.4v.
- Absorption – Charge rate slows to 100%, maintains a voltage of 14.4v for 12v charges. Gradually reduces current until no power is added.
- Battery Test – Automatically conducted immediately after absorption, monitors voltage to confirm successful charge.
- Recondition – The battery reconditioning function automatically starts a low constant current for 4 hours after failing the battery test. Aims to recover deeply discharged batteries & increase performance & life.
- Float – Ensures a 100% charge without overcharge or damage, leave connected to the battery indefinitely.
